1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, including your name, email address, and content you submit for scoring.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions, and communicate with you.
3. AI Processing
HitScore’s scores, rewrites, hooks, poll options, and coach replies are produced by AI models operated by OpenAI. To generate a result, the content you submit for that request — your draft text, a photo you choose to score, and the niche and platform you selected — is sent from our servers to OpenAI and processed there. You are asked to consent to this during onboarding, before any content is sent.
We do not send your name, email address, or account identifiers to OpenAI, and your content is not used to train their models. OpenAI processes it only to return your result. We do not use your content to train models of our own.
4. Service Providers
Besides OpenAI, we use a small number of providers to run the service: Supabase (accounts and sign-in), Cloudflare (our API and content delivery), Apple (sign-in, push notifications, and all purchases), and RevenueCat (subscription status). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with the providers listed above so the app can work, when you ask us to, or where the law requires it.
6. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment-card details. We receive from Apple and RevenueCat only whether a subscription is active, so the app knows to unlock Pro features.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
8. Data Retention
We retain your account details and score history for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account in Profile › Account › Delete account removes them from our systems. You may also request deletion at any time by contacting us.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
10. Cookies and Tracking
Our app may use analytics tools to help us understand how users interact with our service. This data is used solely to improve the user experience.
11. Children’s Privacy
HitScore is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes.
